As of Tuesday afternoon, the Pee Dee and Catawba zones have the chance to finish the day with ozone concentration peaks near code YELLOW, with all others likely finishing code GREEN. On Wednesday, another sunny day is in store for South Carolina as high pressure builds in from the west. Dry conditions and ample sunshine should promote the formation of ground level ozone for parts of the interior of the state. For tomorrow, the Upstate, Pee Dee, & Catawba zones could see their ozone concentrations peak in code YELLOW with all other forecast zones peaking in code GREEN.
