U.S. Geological Survey's (USGS) Water Science for Schools - USGS provides a collection of information on many aspects of water. There are also pictures, data, maps, and an interactive center where you can give opinions and test your water knowledge. (grades 5 - 12)

Green Steps Schools - A South Carolina program that encourages schools to become more environmentally responsible and to continue their improvements. (adults)
Palmetto Pride - South Carolina's anti-litter campaign (all ages)
South Carolina Farm to School - This South Carolina program connects schools with local agriculture. (grades K-12)
Farm Bureau Mini-Grant Program - The South Carolina Farm Bureau Young Farmer and Rancher program offers a Learn-to-Farm classroom mini-grant program for teachers in public and private schools. (grades K-12)
Lowe's Toolbox for Education - Lowe's will donate money for projects that have a permanent impact such as facility enhancement (both indoor and outdoor) as well as landscaping/clean up type projects. Projects that encourage parent involvement and build stronger community spirit will be favored. (grades K-12)
Presidential Award for Environmental Educators - This award recognizes outstanding kindergarten through 12th grade teachers who employ innovative approaches to environmental education. Winners also receive a monetary award to fund environmental educational activities and programs, and further professional development in environmental education. (adults)

EPA Polluted Runoff for Kids - A Web site with activities focused on water, runoff and water quality. (grades K-8)
RiverVenture - Take a virtual trip along the "Three Rivers" of SC's Midlands and The Cooper River in Charleston, SC. Learn about people, places and the environment along the way. (grades 7-8)
Recycle City - An interactive town where students can learn about recycling. Created by EPA Region 9 in California. (grades 3-8)

DHEC's Bureau of Air Quality Breathe Better (B2) Program - An anti-idling, clean air education program. The goal is to help protect public health and improve air quality by reducing harmful vehicle emissions around school campuses and other public spaces. (grades K-12, adults)
DHEC's Action for a Cleaner Tomorrow - A national award-winning activity-based, interdisciplinary curriculum supplement that introduces basic environmental education in the classroom. (grades K-8)
DHEC's Recycling Education Grant Program - Promotes awareness of solid waste issues, including the need to reduce the solid waste we generate, and to recycle whenever we can. All projects are required to include a used oil awareness project because of the funding source. (grades K-12)
A Fish's Wish activity book - A short activity book to help young learners find out about runoff pollution from a fish's point of view. (grades 2 - 5)
