DHEC OCRM will hold an in-person public hearing to receive comments on the proposed private recreational dock project on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 6:00 pm. The public hearing will be held at the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) Marine Resources Center Auditorium located at 217 Fort Johnson Road, Charleston, SC 29412.

During the public hearing, DHEC OCRM staff will provide a brief summary of the proposed application and will accept verbal comments for the record to be considered prior to making a final decision.  This hearing is designed so that DHEC OCRM staff can gather comments as to the merits of the project and consider all information when making a decision based on the Coastal Tidelands and Wetlands Act, Department regulations, and policies.
