Smoke forecast for Monday, August 19, 2019:

A light wind from the southwest Sunday night and Monday morning, turning more out of the south Monday afternoon, should continue to move the Able fire smoke plume generally in a north to northeast direction through Monday. A weak smoke trapping inversion is expected to develop late Sunday night, into Monday morning. Periods of smoke are possible in the vicinity of Rivers End Subdivision, Hearthstone Lakes Subdivision and Brooke Mill Apartment Complex as well as near the intersection of Argent Blvd and Okatie Hwy. Smoke will be most prevalent overnight Sunday and early Monday, dissipating by late morning Monday. Locations closest to the Able Contracting Recycling facility along Schinger Avenue are more likely to experience smoke at any given time.
