We should see all zones finish at CODE YELLOW for ground-level ozone this Thursday afternoon. The air quality should be better on Friday, as a storm system from the west moves into South Carolina late in the day. Rain chances should increase during the course of the day with the increase in moisture content from southwesterly winds. There may be some residual ozone precursors in the Upstate and Pee Dee regions that may keep ozone elevated. Thus, a CODE YELLOW has been issued for both zones. Otherwise, all other zones should see good air quality under CODE GREEN conditions on Friday.
