Federal Vaccine Allocations

This page will be updated regularly as information becomes available.

The U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Indian Health Services, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons don't receive their COVID-19 vaccines from the state's allotment; they receive their vaccines directly from the federal government. These four federal entities report their vaccine administration data to a federal database that doesn't relay data back to South Carolina's Statewide Immunization Online Network (SIMON) database. Because of this, vaccine usage data from these federal entities isn't included in our state's vaccination dashboard. However, every dose administered to federal personnel by these entities is a boost to our state's overall vaccination efforts.
