Available Measures

For the year 2015, CMS specified that Eligible Hospitals and Critical Access Hospitals (EHs/CAHs) in Stage 1 were required to meet at least two (2) Public Health Reporting measures, and that EHs/CAHs in Stage 2/Modified Stage 2 were required to meet at least three (3) Public Health Reporting measures. For the year 2016, CMS specified that all EHs/CAHs , regardless of Meaningful Use stage, must meet at least three (3) Public Health Reporting measures. [ Source ]

As of 2017, DHEC offers the following Public Health Reporting measures for EHs/CAHs:

• Immunization Registry
• Syndromic Surveillance Reporting
• Electronic Reportable Laboratory Result (ELR) Reporting
