DHEC continues to work with federal, state and local partners as it investigates COVID-19 cases in South Carolina. DHEC’s top priority remains protecting the public during this national and state emergency.
There is widespread, ongoing transmission of novel coronavirus in the United States and worldwide. If you have traveled in the past 14 days, please monitor your health, stay home as much as possible, and wear a mask while in public.
If you participated in higher risk activities or think that you may have been exposed before or during your trip, take extra precautions to protect others for 14 days after you arrive:
- Avoid being around people at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19.
- Consider getting tested for COVID-19.
