Welcome to the Health Regulation Public Comment system. The Department of Health and Environmental Control provides this system for interested persons to comment on the Department's regulation promulgation process. The Department initiates the promulgation process by publication of a Notice of Drafting (NOD) in the State Register which begins a thirty (30) day comment period for interested persons to submit comments on the regulation. The Department considers the comments received in drafting its Notice of Proposed Regulation (NPR). Upon approval by the Board of Health and Environmental Control, the NPR is published in the State Register which begins another thirty (30) day comment period for interested persons to provide further comments to the proposed regulation. The Department appreciates your comments as they are vital to our regulation promulgation process.
