The goal of South Carolina's Tuberculosis Control Program is to eliminate TB within the state of South Carolina.
TB Control protects the public through case finding, treating both active TB disease and latent TB infection (LTBI), identification and testing of individuals exposed to TB, and targeted evaluation of persons at high risk of progression to TB disease.
