ePermitting Troubleshooting

Prior to requesting ePermitting assistance, please confirm that the following steps are complete:

  • Confirm that you have an active ePermitting account and that the verification steps that were sent via email have been completed
  • Confirm that the correct username and password was used when signing in
  • Check to see if ePermitting can be accessed using a different browser (ePermitting works best in Chrome)
  • Confirm that you are an authorized user for the site that you are trying to access
  • Confirm that you have selected the appropriate site
  • Confirm that you do not have issues visiting other SCDHEC.gov websites
  • Confirm that you have internet access
  • Ensure that you are accessing ePermitting within the United States
  • Close and restart the browser you are using
  • Log out / restart your computer
