DHEC takes its role of protecting public health and the environment very seriously. On January 13, 2021, DHEC participated in a community meeting with Mountain View Baptist Church in Greenville where DHEC, CSX Transportation, and Duke Energy provided updates on the voluntary cleanup of the Bramlett Road site. On February 8th, 2020, DHEC presented an Update of remedial investigation work that has taken place at the CSXT Bramlett Road site at the Mountain View Baptist Church Community Meeting. DHEC along with Duke Energy and CSX Transportation representatives provided updates as well as answered questions and concerns from those in attendance.
