DHEC will hold a community meeting at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at the Bees Landing Recreation Center located at 1580 Ashley Gardens Boulevard in Charleston to discuss the landfill and concerns that have recently been brought to our attention.  At this meeting, representatives of DHEC, Charleston County, and the landfill will be available to provide information and answer questions.  Notification of the meeting is being provided to everyone on DHEC's mailing list for the landfill and will also be shared more broadly through the Proximity Neighborhood Homeowners Association.  Please share the meeting information with any others you know who may be interested in attending.

DHEC has developed an online system for submitting environmental complaints  in an effort to streamline the reporting process for communities across our state.  Should you have any additional complaints to report regarding the landfill, please utilize the system here. DHEC’s online complaint system is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
