DHEC will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. to accept written and verbal comments on the synthetic minor construction permit and the significant modification to the Title V Operating Permit. The hearing will be held at Council Chambers at City Hall (519 N Goose Creek Blvd, Goose Creek, SC). Doors will open at 5:30 P.M. to facilitate the sign-in process and provide an opportunity to meet DHEC staff.

The public comment period for both of permits is April 27 to June 3. After thoughtful consideration of the comments we receive and after detailed review of the information received as part of our standard permit application process, DHEC will then make a final decision on the two air permits, and community members will be notified of DHEC's decision.
