DHEC is seeking input, specific to the aforementioned permit coverage requests, on two proposed applications (included in the notice documents) to disturb land to facilitate construction of a solar farm at the site. We invite interested parties to an informational session, public hearing, and/or to provide written comments. The informational public meeting will include:

• DHEC’s role in the proposed applications and applicable regulatory requirements for the pending applications
• Scope of the proposed projects and brief description of stormwater controls for the site

Procedures: An informational public meeting to share information and answer questions will begin at 6 pm and will be followed by a formal public hearing beginning at 7 pm. The hearing will be conducted by a hearing officer. Oral and written comments will be accepted. Oral presentations may be limited to a fixed, reasonable amount of time. The number of representatives that may make oral statements on behalf of any individual or organized group may be limited.
