The SC Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) is holding a community meeting to discuss the SCE&G Columbia Fleet Maintenance (Site), also referred to as the Congaree River Project Site.  At this meeting, DHEC will provide an update on proposed changes in the preferred cleanup method for the tar-like material located downstream of the Gervais Street Bridge in the Congaree River.  Additional information is available at:
