What is TelePrEP?

The use of telemedicine (electronic device, smartphone, tablet, or computer) to provide PrEP services. This includes the PrEP prescription, medical visit, and counseling.

How does it work?

Labs are collected at participating Lowcountry Region Health Department clinics, then the medical visit is conducted via telemedicine with a MUSC provider, and the PrEP prescription is sent to your home or pharmacy of choice. Individuals must reside in the Lowcountry region of South Carolina (Allendale, Bamberg, Beaufort, Berkeley, Dorchester, Calhoun, Charleston, Colleton,  Hampton, Jasper, or Orangeburg counties) to participate.
