Household Electronics

(televisions, computers, computer monitors, printers and other electronic equipment as well as ink/toner cartridges) - Sumter County accepts e-scrap only at the Sumter County Landfill. For more information, call (803) 436-2241. In addition, e-scrap is not accepted at the Sumter County Recycling Centers. See above for details.

Effective January 14, 2022, the City of Sumter sanitation crews will not be sorting recycling at the curb. Until further notice, please bag recycling items and place them in the same container as your regular trash. This will allow our limited workforce teams to focus on residential and commercial pickup and yard debris.
