DHEC will hold a Public Hearing to accept comments on the proposed modification of the Martin Marietta Orangeburg Quarry on September 9, 2021 at 6:00 pm. Prior to the public hearing, DHEC will hold a public meeting on the same day, from 4:00 - 5:30 pm. The public meeting will include a presentation followed by a question and answer session. DHEC staff will be available to answer questions from attendees. 

Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in our state, these events will be held virtually using an online platform with a telephone option. These events will provide interested persons the opportunity to participate remotely. Anyone who plans to participate in the public meeting and/or public hearing should complete the registration form prior to September 9, 2021.
