    The South Carolina Mining Council (“Mining Council”) will hold a hearing on the above
    referenced matter in accordance with S.C Code Section 48-20-190 and Regulation 89-290.

  6. Short Statement Describing Specific Matters Appealed
    1. Permit should be denied due to Respondent Mine Company’s past violations of the S.C. Mining Act
    2. Project will have a significant adverse effect on public owned lands and waters.
    3. Permit must be denied because it fails to avoid wetland impact and will continue to violate water quality standards.
