Community Development Block Grant
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program is a federal resource that strives to build stronger and more resilient communities.
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) suggest some projects include but are not limited to:
- Infrastructure
- Economic development
- Public facilities installation
- Housing rehabilitation
The Office of Rural Water oversees the initial communication between local government and internal DHEC programs to assist in determining potential permits required. To submit projects for review, please mail to 2600 Bull St., Columbia, SC 29201 at the attention of Caleb Snelling, Office of Rural Water.
