Greenville SHAPE Initiative

State of SC

The Greenville Sexual Health Awareness, (STI) Prevention, and Education Initiative, or SHAPE, was formed in 2017 in response to rising STD rates across Greenville County and the Upstate region of South Carolina. SHAPE members represent several agencies throughout the county who serve a wide range of individuals at risk for acquiring STDs.

Greenville SHAPE regularly hosts speakers, discusses the latest STD rates in the region, and provides information and resources to the community. If you would like to be involved with SHAPE please contact Nicole Cooper, STD/HIV Health Educator at cooperna@dhec.sc.gov to be added to the mailing list.
