Counselors work in groups of three, living with and providing the daily care and supervision of eight campers: to guide them through activities and assist with adapting activities so all campers can participate. Applicants must be at least high school graduate. Experience working with children is desirable.
You will live with a group of campers and assist counselors with the daily care and supervision of campers. Responsible for behind-the-scenes work that keeps camp running such as assisting kitchen staff, overseeing camp laundry, and janitorial services. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. Experience working with children is desirable.
Responsible for planning, teaching, and leading activities in a designated activity area (arts and crafts, fine art, nature, sports and games). You'll live with a group of campers and assist counselors with the daily care and supervision of campers. Applicants must have completed sophomore year of college and possess knowledge and/or experience in teaching a specific activity area. Experience working with children is desirable.
Responsible for supervising all swimming and boating activities. You'll live with a group of campers and assist counselors with the daily care and supervision of campers. Applicants must be a high school graduate and possess current lifeguard training, First Aid and CPR/AED certification or be eligible to obtain certification. Experience working with children is desirable.
Promotes the health and safety of campers and staff. Provides direct care services to campers and staff including storage and administration of medication, performance and supervision of medical treatments, and provision of first aid and required documentation according to agency policy, standing orders, and physician orders. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse by the SC Board of Nursing, have one year of work experience as a Registered Nurse, and hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification. Experience in pediatrics and/or school nursing is preferred.
